For far too long, and for too many people, the structures we live within have been too limiting, too rigid, and too ill-fitted to our natural inclination toward play. This limitation has shaped a contemporary Western society that often feels stifled, restrained, and embittered. The spaces we occupy and the clothing we wear are frequently designed through an ethos that privileges work over play, and the public self over the private one.

At LOOD, we create pieces that help us move more fluidly between these spheres in pursuit of greater happiness. We consider pleasure and exploration to be primary forms of mature play, and as such, they remain central to our design language.
